Fans at Monday's league battle between the Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) and the host Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA), saw Warrior Run's soccer squad knock off Bloomsburg by a count of 4-1.

The Defenders (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES enter the PIAA District IV-A battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Mount Carmel by Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA), 9-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 17. Bloomsburg will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 6-0 league win over Pittston (Pittston, PA).
