The Polk County Wildcats got by the visiting Sweetwater Wildcats football team by a score of 8-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Polk County will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN).

With the defeat, Sweetwater drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Meigs County (Decatur, TN) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, September 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-1.
