In Monday's non-league contest, the Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL) volleyball team overcame the host Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL), by a count of 2-0.

The Tornadoes (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian Academy achieved victory over Tri-Point (Cullom, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sullivan for a battle on Tuesday, September 16. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will encounter a Redskins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Paris (Paris, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 2-0.
