North Carolina High School Volleyball - New Hanover over South Brunswick

September 15, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28401

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), saw New Hanover's volleyball squad notch a victory over South Brunswick by a score of 2-0.

With the win, New Hanover improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to encounter the Pirates in a battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 9-1. Topsail won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against South Central (Winterville, NC)

Next, the Cougars battle the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. South Brunswick will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Stallions enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
