The St. John's Cadets volleyball squad (Washington, DC), was defeated 2-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA)

With the win, Yorktown upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Patriots host Langley (McLean, VA) to meet the Saxons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Saxons enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Langley lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Herndon (Herndon, VA)

The Cadets now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a test on Wednesday, September 17.
