Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Callaway beat Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators face the Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Vicksburg will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, MS).
