Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA) and the visiting Beaver Country Day Beaver (Chestnut Hill, MA), saw Thayer Academy's soccer squad triumph over Beaver Country Day by a score of 7-1.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA). The Governors come into the Independent School test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Governor's Academy was overwhelmed by Tabor Academy (Marion, MA), 4-0, in a league test.

The Beaver now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pingree for a Eastern Independent test on Wednesday, September 17. Beaver Country Day will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Kents Hill School (Kents Hill, ME). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-3.
