In Monday's non-league outing, the host Cristo Rey St. Viator Royals soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate.

The Royals (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Equipo Academy (Las Vegas, NV). The Yeti go into the 3A Southern - Southern outing with a 1-6 record.

Next up, the Pirate confront the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls (Henderson, NV) in a 4A Southern - Desert outing, on Wednesday, September 17.
