East Vikings (West Chester, PA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 6-1 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Golden Knights go into the Ches-Mont - American outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Bayard Rustin got by Coatesville (Coatesville, PA), 7-1, in a league test.

The Vanguards now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Great Valley for a Ches-Mont - American test on Thursday, September 18. Sun Valley will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-3.
