In Monday's league outing, the host Kaynor RVT Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Goodwin Tech Gladiators.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Platt RVT (Milford, CT). The Panthers go into the Connecticut Technical outing with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Platt RVT was overwhelmed by Wright Tech (Stamford, CT), 4-2, in a league test.

The Gladiators now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilcox RVT for a Connecticut Technical test on Tuesday, September 16. Goodwin Tech will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
