In Monday's non-league outing, the host Laney Buccaneers soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Jacksonville Cardinals.
The Buccaneers (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, West Brunswick tipped South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 17. Jacksonville will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 2-2 non-league White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).
