The Lake Norman Wildcats smashed the host Lincolnton Wolves soccer team by a tally of 4-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Wildcats face the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a North Piedmont 6A/7A game, on Tuesday, September 16. Lake Norman will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
The Wolves (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams come into the Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Highland Tech edged Burns (Lawndale, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
