With the triumph, Wheatmore advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-5. Southeast Guilford won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)

The Yellowjackets now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledford for a PAC Seven 4A/5A test on Tuesday, September 16. Lexington Senior will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
