New Mexico High School Soccer - Miyamura knocks off Pojoaque Valley

Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) and the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), saw Miyamura's soccer squad triumph over Pojoaque Valley by a count of 10-0.

The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Lynx come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Rehoboth Christian was overwhelmed by Silver (Silver City, NM), 4-1, in a non-league test.

The Elks/Elkettes now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Fe Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Pojoaque Valley will meet a Blue Griffins team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Blue Griffins record now stands at 6-1.
