The Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) soccer nipped the host West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Maroon Raiders now hold a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Verona for a Super Essex - Independence contest on Thursday, September 18. Nutley will battle a Hillbillies team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Hillbillies record now stands at 3-2.
The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
