In Monday's non-league outing, the host Oak Forest Bengals soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Plainfield South Cougars.

The Bengals (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs go into the South Suburban outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Richards got by Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL), 5-3, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a Suburban Prairie outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Plainfield South will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL).
