The Smith-Cotton Tigers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Southern Boone Eagles to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hickman for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17. Smith-Cotton will play a Kewpies team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Rolla (Rolla, MO). The Kewpies record now stands at 2-7.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Belle (Belle, MO). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Belle was overwhelmed by Dixon (Dixon, MO), 6-0, in a non-league game.
