Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Steward moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Saints in a TCIS outing on Friday, September 19. The Saints enter the outing with a record of 4-2. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy lost 5-1 in their recent league test against Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA)

The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portsmouth Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18.
