The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO) and the visiting Oak Park Northmen (Kansas City, MO), observed Chrisman's softball team get by Oak Park by a tally of 10-6.

The Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Grain Valley tipped Fort Osage (Independence, MO), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Northmen clash with the Central Indians (St. Joseph, MO) in a Class 4 District 16 bout, on Monday, September 22. Oak Park will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO).
