The Clayton Greyhounds softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Riverview Gardens Rams to 2 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Monday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hazelwood Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18.

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Hazelwood East was routed by McCluer North (Florissant, MO), 16-4, in a league outing.
