DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) fans went home satisfied Monday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO), 5-0 in a non-league battle.

The Dragons now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Festus for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. DeSoto will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

The Lancers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkway West (Ballwin, MO). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Parkway West edged Seckman (Imperial, MO), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
