In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Francis Fighting Saints volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Apollo Eagles.

The Fighting Saints (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Becker (Becker, MN). The Bulldogs come into the Mississippi 8 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Becker went down by North Branch (North Branch, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocori for a Central Lakes test on Tuesday, September 16. Apollo will face a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 7-7.
