Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 24 challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Whitefield Academy was beaten by Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY) in a District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Fern Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC).
