Illinois High School Volleyball - Cerro Gordo/Bement tips Central A & M

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Central A & M Raiders.

The Broncos (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Purple Riders come into the Lincoln Prairie challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Arcola was nudged by Heritage (Broadlands, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) in a Central Illinois test, on Thursday, September 18. Central A & M will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 8-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL).
