Georgia High School Volleyball - Gilmer Coahulla Creek

Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) boosters went home satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 2-0 in a non-league game.

Next up, the Colts face the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a 2A Area 7 outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Coahulla Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a 9-19 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Temple (Temple, GA).

With the loss, Gilmer drops to 8-14 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 3A Area 7 game on Tuesday, September 16. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 19-7. Calhoun won 2-0 in their recent league game against Adairsville (Adairsville, GA)
