North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Rowan tips Lake Norman

September 15, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28117

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), observed East Rowan's volleyball team hold off Lake Norman by a count of 3-2.

The Mustangs (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons enter the South Piedmont 4A/5A contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, West Rowan got by Salisbury (Salisbury, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a North Piedmont 6A/7A battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Lake Norman will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Davie County (Mocksville, NC).
