Ohio High School Volleyball - Elgin over Wynford

September 15, 2025: Marion, OH 43302

In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Elgin Comets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Wynford Royals.

The Comets (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Fighting Hornets come into the Northwest Central challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Cory-Rawson was beaten by McComb (McComb, OH), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Royals face the Bucyrus Redmen (Bucyrus, OH) in a Northern 10 test, on Tuesday, September 16. Wynford will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Redmen go into the test with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH).
