The Faith Christian Lions volleyball squad (Anniston, AL), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL)

With the win, Sand Rock improves its record to 8-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 21-3. Cherokee County won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Anniston (Anniston, AL)

Next, the Lions battle the Gaylesville Trojans (Gaylesville, AL) in a 1A Area 12 contest, on Monday, September 15. Faith Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cleburne County (Heflin, AL).
