Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL) and the host Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), observed Grace Christian Academy's volleyball team hold off Iroquois West by a count of 2-1.

The Crusaders (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Dragons enter the River Valley contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Grant Park was tipped by Peotone (Peotone, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Chrisman Cardinals (Chrisman, IL) in a Vermilion Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Iroquois West will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL).
