The Meridian Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hayfield Hawks to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA) in a Northwestern game, on Tuesday, September 16. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lewis (Springfield, VA).

The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms go into the National game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Annandale gained a win over Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
