The Portland Panthers (Portland, TN) volleyball knocked off the host Innovation Academy Sentinels (Springfield, TN), 3-0 in Monday's non-league match.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Hendersonville Commandos (Hendersonville, TN) in a AAA District 12 match, on Tuesday, September 16. Portland will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Commandos enter the match with a 12-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN).
The Sentinels (0-7) will now prepare for their match against East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN). The Indians enter the A District 8 match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, East Robertson notched a victory over Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN), 3-0, in a league match.
