In Monday's non-league test, the host J.R. Tucker Tigers volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Varina Blue Devils.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers come into the Colonial challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Hermitage lost by Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils play the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital game, on Tuesday, September 16. Varina will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA).
