Tennessee High School Volleyball - King's Academy edged by Pigeon Forge

The King's Academy Lions volleyball squad (Seymour, TN), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN)

With the win, Pigeon Forge improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN) to encounter the Highlanders in a AA District 3 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Highlanders go into the battle with a record of 2-4.

The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord Christian for a D-II A District 1 contest on Tuesday, September 16. King's Academy will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN). The Lions record now stands at 11-5.
