With the win, Logan advances its record to 5-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-1. Tug Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY)

Next, the Miners play the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Mingo Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV).
