Illinois High School Volleyball - Meridian Vienna

The Vienna Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Meridian Bobcats to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now have a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Goreville for a Black Diamond West outing on Tuesday, September 16. Vienna will play a Blackcats squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Trico (Campbell Hill, IL). The Blackcats record now stands at 6-4.

The Bobcats (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Elverado (Elkville, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Elverado gained a win over Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
