The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 5-6. Bandys won 3-1 in their recent league contest against East Lincoln (Denver, NC)

Next, the Golden Lions meet the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Shelby will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 11-3 record after their 3-0 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
