Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Waltham Hawks (Waltham, MA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Grey Ghosts (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA). The Redmen come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 17. Waltham will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wamps go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Newton North (Newtonville, MA).
