The Tigers now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alamosa for a 3A Tri Peaks challenge on Tuesday, September 21. La Junta will battle a Mean Moose squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Mean Moose record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Rocky Ford falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Meloneers host Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO) to battle the Scorpions in a 3A Tri Peaks challenge on Tuesday, September 21. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Dolores Huerta Prep won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO)
