The Highlands Highlanders volleyball team (Highlands, NC), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC)

The Braves (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Nantahala was dropped by Highlands (Highlands, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 20. Highlands will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Mitchell (Bakersville, NC).
