The Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle football team (Helendale, CA), was beaten 41-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Horizon Prep Lions (Rancho Santa Fe, CA)

In their next game, the Lions face the Victory Christian Academy Knights (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. Horizon Prep will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 51-0 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA).

The Eagle (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Calvary Chapel was toppled by Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA), 51-0, in a non-league bout.
