The Akron-Westfield Westerners football team (Akron, IA), was ripped 41-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA)

The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles come into the A District 8 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Lawton-Bronson was ripped by Westwood (Sloan, IA), 29-23, in a league challenge.
