The Lincoln-Way East Griffins football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts to 0 in the Griffins league victory on Friday.

The Griffins now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bolingbrook for a Southwest Suburban - Blue battle on Friday, September 23. Lincoln-Way East will play a Raiders squad coming off a 41-14 league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Thunderbolts play the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a Southwest Suburban - Red battle, on Friday, September 23. Andrew will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 41-0 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
