Nebraska High School Football - Burwell topples Ansley/Litchfield

The Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) football defeated the visiting Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), 24-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE) in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 23. Burwell will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Buffaloes enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 52-48 league win over Central Valley (Greeley, NE).
