California High School Football - Anzar topped by California School for the Deaf

The Anzar Hawks football team (San Juan Bautista, CA), was beaten 50-34 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA)

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Upper Lake (Upper Lake, CA). The Cougars come into the North Central II (8 Man) outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Upper Lake prevailed over Tomales (Tomales, CA), 24-6, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Anzar moves to 0-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Laton (Laton, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 23. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Laton lost 40-24 in their recent league outing against Riverdale Christian (Riverdale, CA)
