The Eagles now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCracken County for a 6A District 1 battle on Friday, September 23. Apollo will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 42-7 league win over Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Green Waves face the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 23. Meade County will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 43-0 non-league win over Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY).
