In Friday's non-league game, the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) football team were victorious over the host Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC), by a score of 41-21.
The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals come into the MIAA A game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Calvert Hall knocked off Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD), 21-6, in a non-league game.
