California High School Football - Santa Maria can't get by Atascadero

September 16, 2022: Santa Maria, CA 93454

Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA), 28-24 in a league test.

With the win, Atascadero improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA) to confront the Tigers in a Ocean test on Friday, September 23. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 4-1. San Luis Obispo won 54-14 in their recent league test against Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA)

With the loss, Santa Maria moves to 2-3 on the season. The Saints travel to Templeton (Templeton, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Ocean test on Friday, September 23. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-1. Templeton won 37-7 in their recent non-league game against West (Bakersfield, CA)
