North Carolina High School Football - Ben L. Smith nips Atkins

September 16, 2022: Greensboro, NC 27407

In Friday's league match, the host Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles football squad scored a close 20-13 victory over the Atkins Camels.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a 3A West Conference 46 match, on Friday, September 23. Ben L. Smith will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 33-25 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Camels (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers enter the 3A West Conference 46 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Dudley held off High Point Central (High Point, NC), 49-0, in a league match.
