Alabama High School Football - Benjamin Russell tipped by Homewood

The Benjamin Russell Wildcats football team (Alexander City, AL), was tipped 31-24 in Friday's league challenge with the host Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL)

The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Pinson Valley nipped Oxford (Oxford, AL), 44-20, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Smiths Station for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Benjamin Russell will meet a Panthers team coming off a 57-43 league loss to Dothan (Dothan, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
