The Sherwood Warriors football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Blake Bengals to 21 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Einstein for a Montgomery County 4A - North battle on Friday, September 23. Sherwood will face a Titans squad coming off a 28-26 non-league win over Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Bengals face the Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 23. Blake will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 30-0 non-league loss to Poolesville (Poolesville, MD).
